ex has all the features of the Soundstation2 but can be
expanded by adding two external microphones. When external
microphones are added the Soundstation 2 Ex is suitable for
up to 16 participants.

2 but is supplied with two external microphones that extend
the range making it suitable for up to 16 participants.
The Polycom
Soundstation 2 is also available in a wireless version - The
Soundstation 2W
- This provides greater flexibility in business conferencing.
The Polycom Soundstation 2W is the ideal solution for business
users that use different locations for meetings and are required
to move equipment from room to room with the minimum of fuss.
the Soundstation 2w even comes with it's own battery power
supply so it is truly portable. The Polycom Soundstation 2W
is also available as an expandable unit to allow the use of
external microphones. The Standard Polycom Soundstation 2W
has a 12 hour talk time and an 80 hour standby time. The Soundstation
2W Ex has a greater talk time of 24 hours and a standby time
of up to 160 hours.
