Internet Route Management

Peer Director controls, manages and optimizes Internet Routing in multi-homed networks that utilize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Peer Director introduces new traffic management capabilities in peering environments by monitoring, in real-time, the inbound and outbound traffic load on each available ISP link. It utilizes Radware's proven proximity algorithms to calculate efficiently and dynamically the best link for each destination. This dynamic calculation optimizes all available links and provides the best available and most cost efficient service for network traffic. Based on these statistics and coupled with user-defined policies, Peer Director dynamically redistributes traffic loads between the multiple ISP links by automatically setting the BGP routing parameters on the managed routers.

  • Cost effective bandwidth usage.
  • Measure and control Internet performance.
  • Optimal routing ensures the fastest inbound and outbound content delivery using Radware's proven proximity detection method.
  • Reduce IT overhead through automation of BGP tuning.
  • Increase availability by monitoring the health of physical links within the service provider network and BGP peers.
  • Multi Layer Switching Architecture
  • Multi-gigabit Ethernet Connectivity
  • Seamless integration into existing network
  • Secure local and remote management through SSH with Radius authentication and GUI
